Adam's Alliance Crop Events FAQ

About Adam's Alliance

Adam's Alliance is a fundraising organization that donates all money raised to the Greater Illinois Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. For every $1 donated to the NMSS:

  • 55 cents is used for research efforts (as there is currently no cure for Multiple Sclerosis)
  • 34 cents is used for programs and education
  • 11 cents is used for fundraising and management

Registration & Pricing

  • Registration Options: Attendees may choose to partake in the meals offered or not, which affects pricing
  • Payment Methods: Credit Card, Personal Check, or Cash
  • Advance Registration Required: You cannot just show up - registration and payment are required ahead of the event
  • No Seat Reservations: Seats are not reserved until registration form and payment have been received
  • No Partial Day Discounts: Full day attendance required - no discounted price for partial attendance

Dining & Dietary Accommodations

  • Special Dietary Needs: No special requests accommodated
  • Menu: Posted in advance to help you decide
  • Alternative Options:
    • Hotel restaurant on-site
    • Several restaurants in the area
    • Delivery options available to the hotel

Facilities & Amenities

  • WiFi: Available
  • Power: Outlets/Power Bars provided near all tables (bring your own extension cord to guarantee reach)
  • Parking: Hotel parking lot, on-street parking, and parking lot across the street available
  • Lodging: No requirement to stay overnight at the hotel

Beverages & Snacks

  • Drinks Provided: Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, Bottled Water, Iced Tea, and Coffee
  • Personal Beverages: Welcome to bring your own
  • Snacks: Community snack table available in the Retreat Room
  • Table Snacks: If you bring snacks for your group only, keep them at your table (not for community sharing)

Seating & Tables

  • Seating Requests: Can be made but preference given to full weekend attendees
  • Limited Premium Spots: Only so many seats along walls or near bathrooms available
  • Extra Tables: Allowed as long as they don't block aisles (safety requirement)

Vendor & Promotional Opportunities

  • Information Distribution: May place materials at attendees' seats
  • Facebook Promotion: Contact Leanne Stortz about listing your event on her personal Facebook page
  • Vendor Fair: Available on Saturday - contact Leanne Stortz (spots fill up fast)
  • Donations Welcome: Raffle table and door prize donations accepted

  • Registration Options:
    • Friday and Saturday option
    • Saturday only option (discounted $10 less than both days)
  • Payment Methods: Credit Card, Personal Check, or Cash
  • Advance Registration Required: You cannot just show up - registration and payment are required ahead of the event or ticket purchased online
  • No Seat Reservations: Seats are not reserved until registration form and payment have been received or ticket purchased online

Dining & Meal Information

  • Friday: No food offered
  • Saturday Breakfast: Breakfast is provided by generous donors
  • Saturday Lunch: Food trucks located outside the ballroom doors
  • Saturday Dinner: Chicken Lasagna with vegetable, roll and dessert
  • Special Dietary Needs: Not accommodated due to event size (170+ people)
  • Alternative Options:
    • Another restaurant within the casino
    • Delivery options available in the area
    • Fast-food options in the area
